Tube Hybrid Integrated Preamplifier

This all-tube, dual mono preamplifier was designed without any solid state signal processing and the input circuitry is fully differential, thereby eliminating common mode noise. This model incorporates four 6922 tubes chosen for their inherent low noise operation and reliability. As with all the VA products, the plate voltage is lowered when the unit is turned off, thereby extending the life of the tubes.

The tubes are designed to work at 85% of their capacity allowing them to perform at an optimal level without compromising tube life. Separate transformer windings supply high and low voltage to the stereo channels (better channel separation) and the input switching is performed at the input sockets which create extremely small signal paths.
