We are proud to introduce the latest preamp from BAT. The new VK-32SE is a revolutionary successor to the highly regarded VK-31SE. The VK-32SE is a top-to-bottom re-thinking of what is possible in a preamplifier. From the all new 6C19 triode vacuum-tube current sources, to the use of elegant C-multiplier power supply filters on both the positive and negative rails, the VK-32SE is a major step forward in the evolution of BAT’s “Special Edition” preamps. The 6C19 is simply a miniature version of the 6C33C-B, used as the power output tubes in BAT’s reference VK-75SE and VK-150SE amplifiers. For those who would like to further “tune” the sound of the VK-32SE, accessory X-PAKS allow you to use either 6H30 or 5881 tubes as current sources. Of course, the 6H30 Super Tube remains the foundation for amplification of the signal, and now, combined with all-triode vacuum-tube current source.

The VK-32SE offers a combination of speed, texture and richness that is simply breathtaking. Part of this enhancement can also be attributed to the bank of massive, custom, oil-filled capacitors first employed in the Super-PAK of the new, solid-state reference VK-42SE preamp.
