The BAT VK-3iX BALANCED preamplifier represents a dramatic rethinking of an industry classic. Far more than a simple update, this incredible preamp incorporates many innovations from BAT’s reference preamplifiers. New circuit boards and a fresh look yield new heights of performance. In response to customer requests, BAT no offers SIX-PACK™, SUPER-PACK™ and Special Edition (SE) options.

Based on BAT’s proven Unistage® design to eliminate all buffers and followers with a single gain stage enhances the VK-3iX’s ability to portray the natural tonal color of instruments and carry forth the true emotion of any performance. As in BAT’s Reference VK-51SE Preamp, premium Vishay resistors are employed in BAT’s lossless shunt volume control, providing a remarkable sense of transparency and tremendous resolution. The new power supply of the VK-3iX boasts a sizeable increase in energy storage which translates into a greater low end heft and authority. The result is a stunning presentation of top to bottom clarity with the natural sense of musicality which can only be had with a proper all-tube design.

The VK-3iX is a gorgeous on the inside and outside. Its sculpted front panel compliments the high performance within. The user interface is simple and elegant, while the optional remote control offers convenience and control. The VK-3iX is truly, in every aspect, a BALANCED design.
