The VK-P10SE remains an all-tube, zero-feedback design, combining the benefits of balanced operation with their unique Flying RIAA™ Network. Dual mono construction and enormous energy reserves are matched by complete flexibility in cartridge loading. The first gain stage has been totally redesigned to provide a substantially lower noise floor, and premium Vishay bulk metal foil resistors replace metal film resistors in all critical circuit areas. The output stage now employs four exotic, high-current 6C45 tubes for improved gain and lower noise. An upgraded power supply section and dual SIX-PAK™s of paper-in-oil capacitors contribute to the most controlled bottom end we have ever heard from any phono stage. The results of these efforts are a greatly extended dynamic range, combined with the ability to resolve harmonic and reverberant detail in even the quietest passages.
