The Deepgroove is the essential upgrade for the venerable Rega Planar 2, 3 & 25 turntables as well as selected NAD and Moth-branded turntables. The Deepgroove features a perfectly balanced 4” sub platter - its increased mass greatly reduces wow and flutter. The machined spindle and dampened platter shaft reduces platter resonance and ensures a perfect fit when your platter is placed on it.

The Deepgroove’s shaft has been precision grounded to within 1/10000th of an inch and plated with a space-age alloy that decreases frictional force while increasing lubricity (using the supplied oil) for ultra-smooth rotation with every playback.

Included with each Deepgroove is a bottle of graphite-free long-molecule strand oil (with applicators) formulated for long-term low-speed applications as well as a finely polished ruby bearing to replace the stock bearing (remove it using the supplied ferrite magnet) for a markedly smoother rotation with a lower noise floor between motor and platter.
