Utilizing the highly regarded Wolfson 24bit/96k DAC combined with Tim’s unbeatable analog output stage gives the Acute one the sweetest and extended presentations. This player uses a pair of 6DJ8s (6922s) in the output stage, as these are a favorite of Tim’s. Tube swappers can have a blast with this player! This CD player also has enough gain to drive an amplifier directly with an all-analog volume control.
