This latest version of the audiophile favorite, the CD-25,2 features audiophile touches like a Burr-Brown PCM1738 DAC with 24/192 resolution, a Philips VAM1202/19 transport mechanism and a re-clocked, low jitter, transformer coupled, digital output (with both Tos-Link and Coaxial connections) which make the CD-25.2 the perfect mate for an external DAC. 

There are also a few ergonomic upgrades, such as a brighter and clearer LCD display, improved remote and slimmer profile. However, some things have not changed, like the well regulated individual power supplies, detachable IEC power cord, dimmable display, massive chassis, thick aluminum face plate and one year manufacturer's warranty.
