“Nano Crystalline” is a brand-new material used in the production of exotic aerospace applications and now used by PS Audio in the development of their new A/C filters. First, a word of explanation. A good A/C filter needs a strong magnetic field to develop at the frequencies you want to eliminate. In the past, PS Audio relied on giant baluns for this task; a balun is a very effective filter made with long lengths of wire wrapped around a ferrite core. However, these long lengths of wire could impede instantaneous A/C current delivery. So, PS Audio went in search of a better way.

Enter Nano Crystalline technology, a material that has the highest magnetic permeability available! This new technology is so powerful that PS Audio can now build sonically superior filters at 1/10th the size of their previous models! The Nano Crystalline filter consists of tiny donuts of magnetic material wrapped with very short lengths of wire that actually produce the same size magnetic field as a giant balun! What does that mean? It means that every PS Audio Power Product with this technology cleans your power better and sounds better than anything that PS Audio's ever made!
