The new reference table from Pro-Ject has been getting rave reviews all over the world. The Pro-Ject RM-10 comes complete with a 12-pound, dual-layer, acrylic platter with a brass record clamp. The platter itself is suspended above the plinth by a magnetic repulsion system using a pair of opposing magnets to “lift” the platter, reducing bearing friction and mechanical noise. The outboard motor is tuned for silent operation and keeps vibrations away from the platter. The medium density plinth is supported by three height-adjustable cones, which are damped internally with Sorbothane®. A supplied spirit level helps you ensure the table is perfectly balanced. The Pro-Ject RM-10 comes with a brand-new 10” carbon fiber tonearm called the 10cc. Precision adjustment of tonearm height, azimuth and anti-skating is easily accomplished. The newest advance is the Pro-Ject Ground-it Deluxe: a turntable base filled with a proprietary granule that prevents vibrations from traveling through your shelf or rack.
