 VPI's Center Weight flattens vinyl effectively!  

VPI's Center Weight is a hefty solid stainless steel weight originally designed to complement VPI's Outer Ring Clamp.  However, we've found that even when used on its own, the Center Weight provides a noticeable improvement to every record!

The Center Weight simply slides on over the spindle and its great weight flattens the record evenly for greater coupling with the platter.  The Center Weight is the perfect way to improve the sound of your records, as it dampens vibration from your LPs, yeilding increased resolution.

Although the Center Weight was designed primarily for VPI turntables, the unthreaded design lets you use it with almost any turntable!
