The answer is a resounding yes, as Lane backed by a red hot group of musicians that include Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton (Double Trouble), Mike Finnigan and Celia Price (B3 and a variety of keyboards), with production duties in the hands of Eddie Kramer, has fashioned a set that effectively blends the best of modern/rock blues with the inherent traditional roots Lane inherited from his father, the late great Jimmy Rogers.
