CANTELOUBE/SONGS OF THE AUVERGNE/DAVRATH HDAD *DVD-A*

This is the famous recording entitled 'Songs of the Auvergne' made famous by Harry Pearson of the Absolute Sound for its lifelike qualities and the alluring vocals by Netania Davrath. This package combines the original volumes 1 and 2 into a 24/96-24/192kHz High-Defintion DVD-A set. Tranferred on an all-tube cutting system from the original master tapes at Bernie Grundman Mastering.

HDAD is a two-sided DVD-based disc which Classic Records is calling 'Hybrid Digital Audio Disc' or HDAD.  One side of the disc is DVD-Video formatted and contains 24/96 2-Channel PCM data playable on all DVD video players.  The other side contains 2-Channel 24/192 PCM data and is playable on DVD-Audio players.
