This double-LP from 1971 is one of the period's great live albums. You had two major talents in vocalist Steve Marriott, far bluesier than the Small Faces ever were, and guitarist Peter Frampton who had never rocked so hard before or since. It's a real showcase for both of these Brits with some songs taking up an entire side. Of course, Greg Ridley and Jerry Shirley were just the right rhythm section. Eddie Kramer did an excellent job capturing the excitement of the live performance.
