LED ZEPPELIN - I *QSV*LED ZEPPELIN/I 200G PRESSING The debut album from what would become one of the biggest rock bands ever. Signed by Ahmet Ertegan to Atlantic Records based on their blues roots and Jimmy Page's guitar reputation from his Yardbird days. This first release from 1969 became an instant classic blend of English power riffs and rock plus the Chicago blues they were weaned on. Besides Page's virtuoso guitar style this album introduced the rest of the world to the distinctive banshee wail of vocalist Robert Plant, the late John Bonham's thunderous drumming and the sensitive bass and keyboards of John Paul Jones. It was the launching of a phenomenon. Track Listing |
