NAT 'KING' COLE/JUST ONE OF THOSE THINGS

S&P Records, who brought you the great Peggy Lee and Eva Cssidy pressings, return with a expanded, numbered edition of Nat ‘King’ Cole’s Just One Of Those Things from 1957. The original 3-track tapes for this early stereo release were re-mastered by Steve Hoffman on his vintage vacuum tube playback system with a special low-temperature plating procedure.  This new version features three additional songs beyond the original: “Day In-Day Out, “ “I’m Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter,” and “Something Makes Me Want To Dance With You.”  These three songs were also arranged by Billy May and appeared on Cole’s Face The Music LP. The entire album is tastefully swinging with Cole’s smooth voice nicely framed and accented by the exquisite horns.  Please note that a few cuts differ from the original press in that some takes now include the audio cue/lead-in. These initial pressings are individually numbered and pressed on 180g of pure virgin vinyl and housed in poly-lined sleeves with the cover art and liner notes faithfully reproduced.
