REGA - P5 TURNTABLE W - RB-700 TONEARM CHERRY WOOD FRAME

An Analog Lover’s Dream - The Rega P5 Turntable

NOTE: Due to territory restrictions we are unable to sell this player in all areas.  Please give us a call and we'll let you know if we are able to ship one to you

It may seem very straightforward, but that’s the beauty of this turntable. Don’t be fooled, the P5 is a masterpiece of effective design. The big news is the new RB-700 tonearm, improving on the tradition of its famous forbearer, the RB-300. Made of aluminum and stainless steel, internally wired with higher quality cable and reassuringly tight in construction, it is fully equipped with anti-skate bias setting, tracking force adjustment, and a hydraulically-damped arm-lift mechanism.
The turntable is built with a low mass plinth that will not trap resonance. Its decoupled, electronically controlled motor is tuned for vibration-free speed stability. We love the Rega P5 for its simplicity and for its genuine sonic virtues. This table raises the bar for audiophile LP playback at this price point. We recommend spending as much on a matching phono cartridge as the table itself. The P5 is the ultimate set-it and forget-it table and will absolutely shock you with its ability to make beautiful music.

“The P5 is an unambiguously fine, musical LP player, considered on its own and in comparison with its less expensive sibling—and it does nothing but add luster to Rega’s already well-deserved reputation for value… I can now go a step further and recommend the P5 to anyone who’s lived with a humbler Rega—even more so to the hobbyist who’s upgrading from a different budget deck—because it represents a step up in every way, musically and sonically!” - Art Dudley, Stereophile, December 2004
