The new X-RAYv8 is a two-piece system comprised of a transport/digital device with an outboard power supply. The high-frequency presentation is smooth and well extended, the mid-band is lush and accurate without sounding forward, and the bottom end is extremely tight and controlled. By keeping all the sensitive digital devices away from the power supply, the X-RAYv8 ensures none of the noise from the transformer can interfere with the music. Their newest Triple-X Power Supply is included with this package. By keeping the noise floor at almost undetectable levels much more micro-detail comes forward.
