DENON - DP-500M DIRECT DRIVE TURNTABLE (Manual Operation)
The Denon DP-500M - A Classic Design, Quartz-Locked, Direct-Drive Turntable
Denon has been building turntables for many decades, and the Denon DP-500M is one of their classic audiophile designs. The DP-500M uses a quartz-locked servo to maintain dead-on speed accuracy. Its high-torque motor gets up to speed within 0.3 seconds! The Denon Classic S-shaped Tonearm is a venerable design, with sophisticated controls for tracking force and anti-skating.
The Denon DP-500M is fully-damped with silicone underneath the die-cast, perfectly-balanced aluminum platter, and a special record mat is employed to reduce vibration on the surface of your vinyl. The natural looking, lacquered wood-veneer chassis is strong, yet compact. Special anti-vibration feet keep the table isolated and helps the Denon DP-500M extract more information from the grooves.
If you have been looking for a simple, dependable table with old-school looks and modern performance parameters, you have finally found it! (Dust cover included)
