The Marantz SA-11S2 is one of the most musical CD/SACD players we’ve heard! Updated for 2009, this award-winning player now includes the custom-built Marantz transport mechanism from the SA-7S1. The toroidal transformer, Nippon DACs, new low-jitter clock, and HDAM SA2 analog output stage have all been upgraded! The reference chassis combines full copper construction with additional shielding and a double-reinforced bottom plate for added isolation. The player’s massive transformer has an additional copper shield to minimize signal interference. The brand-new, SACD-optimized Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules (HDAM SA2) achieve a more dynamic, detailed, and accurate analog signal through either RCA or XLR outputs.
