This incredible integrated amplifier from Musical Fidelity is an absolute workhorse. Sonically, it’s indistinguishable from its bigger (and much more expensive) brother, the kW550. With 200 watts into 8 Ohms and over 400 w/ch into 4 Ohms, this amp can drive any speaker, with ease. The preamp section inside has Musical Fidelity’s famous tube-line stage for superlative warmth and natural musicality.

The A-1008 also has their best built-in DAC circuit with dedicated digital inputs (even a USB for your computer or home network). The 24bit/192k up-sampling DAC will make digital sources come to life; ensuring maximum fidelity. The supplied MM/MC switchable phonostage will work with any analog setup. The external power supply keeps the delicate signal away from magnetic interference, while allowing extraordinary detail retrieval. The A-1008 can easily be the last amplification system you’ll ever need.
