The Ultimate Rega Platter Upgrade - Achroplat

A much better platter material than either glass or acrylic, the new Achroplat is a virtually perfect support for a vinyl record. With a conventional platter, high-pressure vibrations remain in the record bouncing around and muddling up the sound.

This upgrade platter forms a path for vibrations to travel away from the surface of the record. The Achroplat does so by using internal bubbles, which offer both support and damping properties. Now vibration energy is damped away from the surface of the LP. The improvement is not subtle!
