Digistrobo is a unique new digital instrument for extremely accurate measurement of turntable speed. Microprocessor-based with a precise Quartz crystal, the Digistrobo is different from any other strobe. Digistrobo measures the actual speed of the platter at any moment, even while the record is playing! Digistrobo also allows the user to evaluate the precision of speed settings and also any speed fluctuations of the turntable’s motor (wow and flutter).

Attach a small piece of the included reflective tape (10 inches included) to the edge of the platter, press the button on the side of the unit to activate the strobe, shine the light on the reflective tape (hold the Digistrobo at 12-15 inches away) and voila! Instant, accurate platter speed reading! Because there's nothing to interfere with record playback, the Digistrobo allows users to accurately measure platter speeds, without having to guesstimate the effect of stylus drag or the extra weight of a 200G record or a heavier clamp.
