MARTY PAICH - I GET A BOOT OUT OF YOU (180g LP)Marty Paich I Get A Boot Out Of You On 180g Vinyl LP Marty Paich, known respectfully as “the man who put the Pro in Progressive,” is no stranger to the sound, feel and appeal of swinging sounds good enough to be considered collector’s items. An early admirer and student of the great Jimmie Lunceford sound, Paich spent the major part of his young manhood studying the musical sounds and techniques of Stravinsky and Bartok plus the great and minor works of master Brahms, Beethoven, Bach and Mozart. Still not content with his grounding, Paich followed that by capturing a Master of Music Degree in Composition from the famed Los Angeles Conservatory of Music. He has since arranged for nearly every name group and band in the land. I Get A Boot Out Of You was Marty Paich’s first album for Warner Brothers Records originally released in 1959 and it features none other than Art Pepper, Jack Sheldon, Conte Candoli, Bill Perkins, Vintor Feldman and Russ Freeman. Remastered from the original analog master tapes, at Acoustech Mastering by Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman. The previous reissue by the Discovery label in the ‘80s did not use the original master tapes. Pressed on 180g HQ Vinyl At RTI. Marty Paich I Get A Boot Out Of You Track Listing 1.
