In 1972, Chick Corea and Gary Burton recorded their first of five collaborations, the hugely successfully Crystal Silence. It was also the start of live performances together around the world that continue to this day. In celebration of this successful 35 year partnership, Corea nad Burton present The New Crystal Silence. Disc One presents the jazz legends performing their music in orchestral arrangements with the Syndney Australia Symphony. Disc Two presents the artists as a duet, performing live at one of the oldest jazz festivals in Europe and Scandanavia, The Molde Jazz Festival in Norway.
