Godar's FM-DXR-1000 antenna, the first audiophile grade telescoping whip antenna!

The most exciting development in antennas in years, Godar's FM-DXR-1000 antenna has us all "whipped" up!  The FM-DXR-1000 is the first audiophile antenna that allows for tuning the antenna for optimum signal strength and reception, even on far away or low power stations.

A 1/2 wave omni-directional whip antenna, the FM-DXR-1000 is the largest telescoping whip in the industry; the antenna rod extends from 12 inches to a whopping 69 inches, that's almost 6Ft!  The rugged all-weather chrome finish is designed to stand up to just about anything Mother Nature can dish out.

Signal gain for the FM-DXR-1000 is ~1.0dB and signal strength can be changed to suit by simply adjusting the length of the antenna.  Extend the FM-DXR-1000 for greater DX or low power reception, retract for greater multipath rejection or fine tuning.  Godar claims the FM-DXR-1000 can double or even triple signal strength of far off stations and will also improve performance of AM and SW stations.
