A Stereophile Recommended Component! The Fanfare FM-2G offers the perfect solution to most urban and fringe FM reception problems. It’s light, compact and easy to install. With its slim 56” antenna, the FM-2G can be tucked away in an attic or mounted on a wall with its supplied brackets while providing excellent FM reception up to 50 miles.

The FM2GC concentrates its considerable energy on the midband of 90MHz so that all College Band frequencies are given the same reception power as if they were at the middle of the FM band. However, its versatility as an 'all-band' antenna is still available for local FM stations up to the top of the band.

The Fanfare FM-2GC comes complete with 25' of RG59/U (75 W) coaxial cable and 'L' mounting bracket. Finally, while the FM-2GC performs better overall than other, similar designs, its construction and method of coupling are truly superior. First it is much lighter, offering less windage therefore rendering it less susceptible to damage in high winds. And, due to its unique method of coupling, it is capable of maintaining both tune and conductivity over a wider range of weather and climate anomalies, including salt water environments. Installation is fast and easy on any vertical surface using the stainless steel 'L' bracket included. While placement is important for best reception, instructions included with the FM-2GC spell out in clear, uncomplicated terms how to install the unit effectively.
