Don't Be Fooled By Its Small Size!  This Amp Box Packs A Punch! 

Despite its diminutive size, the Pro-Ject Amp Box is a full-blooded stereo amplifier, boasting a hearty 20WPC into 8Ohms and 30WPC into 4Ohms!  Built into the same dimensions as other Pro-Ject Box series components, the Amp Box is a surprisingly robust amplifier that will complement virtually any speaker.

20WPC doesn't sound like a lot of power, but we were very impressed at how well the Amp Box composed itself on our reference speakers; at low volumes as well as at surprisingly high levels regardless of the type of music.  No, the Amp Box is not a replacement for your reference amp, but that's not the intention; the Amp Box is perfect for powering music anywhere, discreetly and unobtrusively in a compact chassis!

Featuring RCA inputs and 3-way binding posts, the Pro-Ject Amp Box works just like a full sized amplifier; the only concession because of its size, is an outboard DC power supply.  When paired with other elements of the Pro-Ject Box series, the Amp Box becomes part of a full featured system with surprising performance at extraordinarily low prices.
