The Marantz PM 5003 integrated amplifier is a fantastic choice for any music lover. Offering enough power for enthusiastic listening sessions, plenty of inputs and outputs, a complete set of features and a built-in MM phono preamp; the PM 5003 doesn't take up much room in a rack, but fills a room with music!

Starting with the important stuff, the PM 5003 has five inputs and a separate MM Phono section, plenty for virtually any system.  The PM 5003 also has two tape outputs and A/B speakers, Bass, Treble and Balance controls (and a bypass switch that turns all those controls off!) and a built-in discrete headphone amp that actually sounds pretty good!

The PM 5003 features current feedback design, a circuit path with better ability to accurately track quickly changing, wide bandwidth musical signals than more conventional voltage feedback topologies.  The amplifier channels themselves are custom-designed high current devices, with entirely discrete components, for greater control and power. 

That means that which ever input you select, whether it’s one of the five line level circuits or the phono stage, you’ll enjoy superb sound quality.  And these inputs feed an exclusive buffer circuit that minimizes any interaction between the source and the PM 5003.  For purist audiophiles, Marantz has created a Source Direct switch which bypasses the tone and balance controls for the shortest signal path from input to output. The new transparent speaker terminals are easy to use and make it easy to see if there are any problems with your connections.
