Bat For Lashes Two Suns On Vinyl LP

Natasha Khan's follow-up to her Mercury Music Prize nominated debut, Fur and Gold sees the British singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist exploring her creative personas and the world around her. Envisioning herself as two separate yet ultimately attached beings, thus the title Two Suns, Khan introduces Pearl, a destructive blonde femme fatale alter ego who acts as a direct foil to her more mystical, desert-born spiritual self. The album includes appearances by Yeasayer on a number of tracks and a duet with the legendary Scott Walker on the closing song “The Big Sleep.” Two Suns was recorded in segments in California, New York, London, Brighton and Wales. Co-produced by Khan and Dave Kosten, her collaborator on Fur and Gold, the album also features Bat for Lashes' touring band, The Blue Dreams, on several tracks.
