REL's B3 Is The High-Resolution Alternative To Conventional Subwoofers

Delivering both lightning quick transients and deep extension, REL's B3 is a great all-around subwoofer adding texture, speed and extension to virtually any speaker.  Working its magic with both music and movies, the B3 creates a large, clearly defined and focused image; performers and instruments are more grounded and real, with greater presence and delineation.

Although priced similarly to the offerings in the REL's R-Series, the B3 is voiced noticeably lower in pitch and offers greater depth, layering and refinement.  The B3 also confers greater refinement to the midrange of its mated speaker and works very well with speakers that are rich in output down to 40Hz or lower.  The B3 greatly improves resolution from top to bottom allowing notes to float and decay naturally, creating a more realistic sonic image in a three-dimensional space with a large and clearly defined soundstage. 

The B3 extends down to 18Hz, clean and with very low distortion.  To achieve this, the B3 is fitted with a very powerful 10” long-throw woofer, a 200W high-current Class A/B amplifier, REL’s proprietary mil-spec 24point ABC crossover, a sturdy cabinet to keep resonance to a minimum and a 2.84” diameter port for maximum extension.  This combination allows the REL B3 to achieve something no other subwoofer in its price range can achieve, power with accuracy.
