These colored tables include a special version of Rega's famous TT-PSU Power Supply Upgrade which not only improves the performance of the table, but allows you to switch between 33 1/3 and 45 RPM on the fly!  The P3-24 is available in five gorgeous High-Gloss Finishes; Red, Green, Yellow, White and Black.

The inspiration for new Rega P3 – 24 came from revisiting the virtues of the original Planar 3. Everything is upgraded: the plinth, the motor, the bearings, and most importantly, the tonearm. The new RB-301 is a huge upgrade from the famous RB-300. The Plinth
This new, high-gloss plinth whilst being slim and attractive, offers high levels of rigidity by using phenolic-resin laminates, with a high quality edging. It is a considerable improvement over the current P2. The main reason for the inclusion of the TT-PSU Power Supply Upgrade is Rega did not want to desecrate the look of these beautiful plinths with a power switch. Now you can control speed, power up the table and get better speed stability… all included at this price!

High Performance Motor
The P3 - 24 uses the same very high quality low vibration motor, which is used in the P5 & 9 turntables. The clever controlling circuitry can be adjusted for phase angle of the motor coils resulting in very low vibration levels from the complete motor assembly.This design change gives a considerable performance increase over the P3 2000.

The TT-PSU
Rega's Power Supply Upgrade is a high quality outboard power supply; the TT-PSU is included with the colored P3 - 24 turntables. Offering increased musical performance, by conditioning the electrical supply with a synthesized low distortion crystal controlled AC input. This also gives the added convenience of electronic speed change control.

New RB-301 Tonearm
The famous RB-300 has been modified to improve production and give a higher musical sound performance. An improved vertical bearing housing has been used, which gives improved rigidity in the tonearms mounting, reducing the stresses in the main 13mm bearings. This assembly is topped off with the improved RB-700 bias housing phono cable.
