Description

Stream Music in High Res, Enjoy Multi-Room Audio, Play MQA, Drive Your Speakers, and Use Voice Control with the NAD M10 V2 BluOs Streaming Amplifier

Modernize or expand your existing system — or add a do-it-all foundation for a new, state-of-the-art multi-room setup — with the NAD M10 V2 streaming amplifier. Bolstered by the wireless high-resolution BluOs network streaming/operating system and an audiophile-grade 32-bit/384kHz ESS SABRE DAC, the Roon-ready M10 V2 holds a BluOs streaming amplifier, Masters Series Hypex Digital nCore amplifier, and 1GHz ARM CORTEX A9 processor under its hood. A remote control, enhanced gain algorithms, and an easy upgrade path to Dolby Digital surround sound are among the updates in the V2 model of this acclaimed component.

Remarkably efficient and look-twice powerful (continuous power is 100W into four or eight ohms; dynamic power rates at 160W into eight and 300W into four ohms), M10 V2 reproduces the details, dynamics, tones, and transparency that make music come alive. You won't hear any electronic noise. And you'll keep busy given BluOs supports MQA as well as all the popular streaming services, locally stored libraries, and more. For a whole-house/multi-room system, simply add more BluOs speakers and use M10 V2 to quarterback it all.

Designed for today's smart homes and lifestyles, M10 V2 is compatible with Amazon Alexa Voice commands as well as Apple's Siri Voice Assistant. Two-way aptX HD Bluetooth technology, mobile app control, and seamless integration with Apple, Crestron, Control4, and Lutron products come standard. Ditto forward-thinking connectivity in the form of HDMI eARC, a USB-A input, preamplifier output, subwoofer outputs, IR input, and trigger output. The seven-inch color TFT display features a proximity sensor and shows a variety of functions for simple navigation. Incredibly, Dirac Live Room Correction is also onboard, allowing you to carefully analyze and calibrate your M10 V2 with state-of-the-art room-correction technology.

M10 V2 seamlessly interfaces with a wealth of entertainment sources. A pair of analog inputs invite you to connect a CD player or similar line-level source. Optical and coaxial inputs welcome CD and Blu-ray players, cable boxes, and digital tuners. And the HDMI ARC input awaits your ARC-compatible TV and outputs the audio signal from your television. In addition, if you feel like you want to at least double the output power, you can operate it in bridge mode.

"The compact (only 8.5" wide) NAD M10 incorporates the BluOS operating system/music playback app; network, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity; analog and digital inputs; support for Tidal, Qobuz, et al.; multiroom capabilities; Dirac Live LE room correction (one hopes not the Delbert Grady sort); and a big 'Gorilla Glass' display on its front panel–all this plus a 100Wpc class-D (nCore) amplifier."

Just Add (More) Speakers

Like the original M10, M10 V2 exemplifies the "Just Add Speakers" revolution in hi-fi. But it takes that revolution a giant step further. Along with audiophile-grade speaker terminals, it has two independent subwoofer jacks, whose output settings are adjustable from the BluOS app. M10 V2 also adds Dolby Digital surround-sound decoding. Home-theater fans can configure a pair of BluOS surround-enabled wireless speakers or amplifiers to play the surround channels, while the main speakers handle the front channels, so that M10 V2 serves as the hub of a 4.1- or 4.2-channel Dolby Digital surround setup. M10 V2 transmits the rear channels wirelessly, with very low latency, so you don't have to run wires around your room to connect the surround speakers.

Complete Control

Use the BluOS app on a smartphone, tablet, or computer to cue up music from your favorite streaming service, or music stored on USB and network drives. Choose some songs from the Spotify or Tidal app on your computer or smart device, then shift playback to M10 V2. Stream music to M10 V2 from an iPhone, iPad, or iTunes library via AirPlay 2. Select music by voice using the Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri, or Google Assistant voice protocol. M10 V2 can be integrated into Apple, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, and other home-automation systems, so you can control music playback, along with other home systems like lighting, shades, HVAC, and security. Use the supplied remote control to adjust volume, skip tracks, and activate preset commands. Or choose tracks, select sources, and adjust volume and other settings from the M10 V2's touchscreen. In addition, M10 V2 can learn commands from your favorite IR remote control.

The Power and the Glory

Created by the award-winning design firm DF-ID, M10 V2 features a solid brushed aluminum chassis, Gorilla Glass top and front panels, and a bright 7″ touchscreen with purer colors and wider viewing angle than the screen on the original M10. Behind that gorgeous display lies a sonic powerhouse that delivers thrilling dynamics and exquisite detail. Based on the renowned nCore technology, M10 V2's Hybrid Digital amplifier is conservatively rated at 100 watts per channel. Its updated gain algorithms allow higher output levels with inefficient speakers. The subwoofer outputs also have higher gain, allowing for a wider range of subwoofer-main speaker combinations. M10 V2 can stream lossless and high-resolution audio from services such as Deezer, Qobuz, and Tidal; and has full MQA hardware decoding and rendering capability.

Room-Friendly

With its compact form factor and elegant minimalist design, M10 V2 will blend beautifully into any living space. Like the original M10, M10 V2 has built-in Dirac Live Room Correction. Using the supplied calibrated microphone and intuitive Dirac app, you can correct peaks and dips caused by your room's acoustics, up to 500Hz (a full-bandwidth version is available through Dirac). That way, you hear movie soundtracks and music as they were meant to be heard, free of anomalies caused by the listening environment.M10 V2 can store up to five Dirac profiles for different listening positions, surround setups, or room conditions—for example whether the drapes are open or closed.
