MM8077 specializes in delivering enormously wide bandwidth, ideal for high-resolution files. You even have the option to choose between balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs for each channel, and each feature identical topology for uniform sound quality across all channels. All you'll need to do is pick out your preferred theater seating. Backed by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
Terminal Connections: Balanced XLR Output Terminals and RC-5 Terminals
MM8077's balanced output terminals offer +40dB rejection of induced noise in the cable while providing a superior mechanical connection. MM8077 can be remotely turned on via the Marantz AV8801s system controller or through the Marantz App. Remote "turn on" via third party control systems is possible with the RC-5 Connection. For even more flexibility, MM8077 includes DC (trigger) control as well as a flasher input.
Power on Tap: Toroidal Transformer, Custom Nichion Audio-Grade Capacitors (50,000mf x 2)
The massive toroidal transformer provides substantial headroom for dynamic peaks along with the ability to handle lower impedance speaker loads. High-current, high-bandwidth discrete power transistors handle short term musical bursts with aplomb. The transformer operates with extremely efficiency, enabling the power supplies to flawlessly respond to demanding musical transients. It also produces less spurious magnetic energy, which helps lower the noise floor for ultra-quiet operation. MM8077's capacitors are capable of handling extremely heavy power loads and can recharge in an instant for even the most demanding passages.
Like AV8801, MM8077 features a copper-plated steel chassis. The benefits include creating a barrier for maximum isolation from external vibration as well as electromagnetic and radio frequency interference.
