Top-to-Bottom Coherency, Refinement, and Insight: U.S.A.-Made Campfire Audio Vega 2020 In-Ear Headphones Boast 10mm Full-Range Dynamic Driver, Ceramic Body, and Litz Cable
Top-to-bottom coherency, refinement, and utility define the Campfire Audio Vega 2020 in-ear headphones. Free of any crossover or electronic clutter in the signal path, the U.S.A.-made 'phones leverage the benefits of a 10mm full-range dynamic driver with the company's signature amorphous diamond-like carbon coating, resulting in a lightweight albeit rigid diaphragm. In musical terms, the characteristics lead to reduced flex, enhanced detail, and extremely low distortion.
Housed in a scratch-resistant ceramic body, which provides stellar density and absorbs vibrations, Vega 2020 boasts a face-located port that vents the rear of the dynamic driver as well as an acoustic dampener that further regulates the airflow. In addition, high-purity conductors from Campfire Audio's custom Beryllium Copper MMCX connector stretch to the driver and back again.
Packaged with a sea-green, Portuguese-crafted zipper case, a smoky-jacket silver-plated Litz cable with molded hooks, multiple sets of ear tips, and a cleaning tool, Vega 2020 plays with confidence, insight, and get-up-and-go energy. A two-year manufacturer warranty and our 100% Music Direct Guarantee complete this audiophile go-getter.
Campfire Audio's ceramic shells get their strength through a sintering process. Two days are spent at 600 degrees, followed by three days at 1200 degrees. This extended exposure to high heat dramatically reduces the parts' size and increases their density as a result. The shells then spend up to three days in a tumbler along with small alumina stones and water, a polishing process that gives them their attractive high-gloss surface finish.
