Expand the Chord Electronics 2go into a Standalone Streamer with 2yu: Interface Adds Optical, Coaxial, BNC, and USB-A Outputs, Helps Create a Discrete Roon Streaming System
Capitalize on the potential of the Chord Electronics 2go streamer/server by expanding its abilities into a multi-output standalone streamer able to interface with the Hugo M scaler and almost any DAC with the 2yu interface. Exclusively designed to work with 2go, the micro-USB-powered 2yu directly connects to 2go to add optical S/PDIF, coaxial, and BNC digital outputs – as well as a cleverly integrated USB-A output. In spite of its portable-friendly size, 2yu boasts a whopping 2,000 MIPS (million instructions per second) of processing power, an integrated sample rate converter, and a low-jitter audio phase lock loop.
For listeners seeking to create a discrete Roon streaming system, 2yu proves ideal. Along with 2go, it can be wired into an Ethernet port to provide streaming to a system in any room. Used alone, 2yu can interface with PCs and Macs via USB to create a high-quality USB-to-digital-audio converter.
Hand-made in the U.K. and sporting an aircraft-grade aluminum chassis, 2yu arrives chock full off Chord Electronics technology and features four polychromatic spherical controls. A switching micro USB power supply and cotton drawstring bag round out a mini dynamo backed by our 100% Music Direct Satisfaction Guarantee.
Please note: In order for 2yu to inherit streaming/music transport capabilities or function as an audio interface, a connection with 2go is required.
