True-to-the-Source Clarity and Rich Detail Define KEF Q750: Tower Loudspeaker Features Two 6.5-Inch Woofers with Matching Auxiliary Bass Radiators, Plus Uni-Q Driver Array

Ideal for serving double duty as both a refined music conduit and home-theater dynamo, the KEF Q750 tower loudspeaker delivers three-dimensional images and transparent-to-the-source clarity guaranteed to draw you deep into your favorite recordings and soundtracks. Because its tweeter is positioned at the center of the midrange cone – part of the beauty of the company's Uni-Q array – Q750 throws a large soundstage marked by rich detail, ambient retrieval, and convincing depth. Its wide dispersion extends well beyond Q750's boundaries via KEF's "tangerine" tweeter dome waveguide. Nothing about Q750 is ordinary.

Indeed, Q750's crystalline presentation of upper-register information parallels its ability to reproduce the all-important midrange. By leveraging the cone structure of its Uni-Q architecture – comprising the topmost 6.5-inch driver with a one-inch vented aluminum-dome tweeter located in the center – KEF engineers eliminated the need for DC blocking, creating a seamless roll-off between the two 6.5-inch drivers. For the matching 6.5-inch Auxiliary Bass Radiators (ABRs), highly responsive spider suspension oversees low-end control with remarkable authority and speed. To further ensure smooth frequency integration, a damped tweeter loading tube and low-distortion inductor are on board. The grille-free Q750's sealed-box cabinet design even reduces the load on the midrange cone, tightening up the lower mid frequencies for punchy bass.

Weighing in at a tad more than 36 pounds, and occupying a 36.3 x 8.3 x 12-inch (HWD) footprint, complete with adjustable spiked outriggers, Q750 is easy to place in a variety of living spaces. If you're looking for a well-built tower speaker with high-end credentials, Q750 steps to the front of the queue. Your risk-free audition is backed by our 100% Music Direct Guarantee.

"To say that the Q750 is a well-designed transducer is a massive understatement: within their limits, I found them nearly flawless."

"Sit Anywhere" Uni-Q Sound
At the heart of the evolved Q Series is the Uni-Q driver array. KEF's signature innovation places the tweeter in the acoustic center of the midrange cone, bringing the acoustic ideal of a single point source closer than ever to realization. The result is a more detailed, more accurate three-dimensional sound image dispersed more evenly throughout the room than possible with a conventional speaker. Uni-Q's ultra-wide dispersion is further enhanced by KEF's "tangerine" waveguide over the tweeter dome.

KEF Q Series Uni-Q Driver
With the addition of the damped tweeter loading tube providing a gentle termination of sound produced from the back of the tweeter, lower treble performance is improved and a new low-distortion inductor on the crossover provides cleaner bass.

Redesigned Bass Drivers
Low-frequency (LF) drivers now have a larger roll surround, along with a new spider suspension to produce cleaner bass at high volumes. A new cone structure improves midrange clarity, and enhanced Auxiliary Bass Radiators (ABRs) with a new surround and rear suspension deliver better controlled and more impressive bass.

New Cabinet Design
In the newest line of Q Series floorstanders, the Uni-Q driver has been placed in sealed box within the cabinet. The closed-box midrange cabinet design reduces the load on the Uni-Q midrange cone, increasing clarity and detail while delivering cleaner, punchier bass. Midrange clarity is enhanced again through improvements to the mid-bass driver that allowed the DC blocking capacitor to be eliminated. Its removal also created a more natural bass roll-off between the drivers.
