Paul W. Klipsch's Lifetime Dream, Realized: 408-Pound Jubilee Tower Speakers Help Bring the Sound of Live Concerts Into Your Home

Jubilee, Paul W. Klipsch’s final project — and a design that only existed in prototype form for decades, causing much excitement among audio devotees and those lucky enough to have it — is finally a reality. Featuring an external active DSP crossover network, seven-inch high-frequency driver, and dual 12-inch woofers, the 408-pound, fully horn-loaded flagship offers astounding efficiency (110dB sensitivity), plays with surreal clarity, and is built to turn your room into a world-class concert venue.

You can immediately tell by looking at the 69.5 x 50.5 x 30.25-inch (HWD) Jubilee that it's no conventional design. A patented horn-loaded, vented, low-frequency enclosure and an all-new horn-loaded compression driver complement an optimal active crossover designed for ideal phase coherency. You get smooth, accurate performance that makes it feel as though the musicians are in the room with you. Acoustically, the high-frequency compression driver lowers the crossover point below midrange frequencies for seamless clarity. The axiperiodic design also ensures consistent extended response and performance reliability that simply feels effortless.

A Klipsch hallmark, the folded-horn vented system creates an unparalleled listening experience in Jubilee by maximizing output while minimizing distortion for clean, dynamic bass. Additionally, it leverages efficiencies of both vented and horn-loaded systems. And an external, wide-dispersion phase plug provides wider, more even dispersion of high frequencies. The result is a vastly improved soundstage and superior imaging.

There is much more to know (and love) about the U.S.A.-made Jubilee. Please contact a Music Direct audio consultant, who will be happy to share more details and information with you about a speaker that will change the way you listen.

High-Frequency Compression Driver

Jubilee features an all-new large format compression driver with a seven-inch axiperiodic Titanium diaphragm. The single, large-diameter diaphragm provides very wide bandwidth performance, eliminating the need for a midrange driver – true to Paul Klipsch’s original design. This wide bandwidth design lowers the crossover point below the critical vocal range for seamless clarity and accuracy.

Book-Matched Wood Veneers

Klipsch only uses book-matched wood veneers for Heritage series. The veneer leaves are kept in order as they are delicately sliced from the timber and precisely arranged to provide a mirror image at the splice joint — like turning the pages of a book. This gives each speaker an aesthetically appealing and consistent appearance that is treasured more than any other cut of wood veneer.

Matched Pairs

Every pair of Heritage series loudspeakers are grain-matched using wood veneer panels that come from the same timber. Each cabinet is carefully matched so that each speaker in the pair is practically indistinguishable from the other. The speakers move seamlessly together through the factory, and each finished product is inspected and labeled with sequential serial numbers, ensuring that your Heritage series speakers leave the factory as a meticulously crafted set.
