Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-5000F II Tower Speakers Offer Stunning Sonics for Clear, Hyper-Realistic Playback and Enormous, Detailed Soundstages
With just one glance, you know they're Klipsch. The Reference Premiere RP-5000F II Tower Speakers feature the famous horn architecture that has made Klipsch a revered brand among audiophiles worldwide. Klipsch's exclusive horn design maximizes efficiency and increases sonic detail while focusing high frequencies toward the listening area. Every aspect of this 36.1-inch tall speaker—including the horn, tweeter, subwoofer, and cabinet—has been engineered to create huge, crystal-clear, cohesive soundstages full of nuanced detail. Such performance makes Reference Premiere speakers ideal for a hi-fi system, a home theater setup, or both.
The revamped RP-5000F II speakers are loaded with the company's signature technology. They feature a new, larger, 90-degree x 90-degree silicone composite hybrid Tractrix horn, which provides incredibly efficient transfer of high-frequency waves into your listening space for crisp, clear sound. A bigger horn means better sound, and the phase plug and compression molded silicone face help ensure smooth frequency response.
Furthermore, the proprietary 1-inch titanium Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) diaphragm tweeter minimizes distortion for detailed, hyper-realistic playback. LTS tweeters are a hallmark of previous Reference Premiere series, making this a core component of some of the most acclaimed loudspeakers in the world.
Another signature of the Reference Premiere series speakers—and one that packs both sonic and visual impact for the RP-5000F II—are the dual, 5.25-inch Cerametallic woofers. They have been updated for flawless sound reproduction, minimum distortion, and maximum efficiency. These cone woofers with Faraday rings deliver the power, transparency, and poise that fans around the globe have come to expect from a Klipsch Reference Premiere speaker.
Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere port allows for efficient, ultra-fast air transfer from the cabinet, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies. Less turbulent air results in a reduction in potential port noise, leading to cleaner bass tones and less distortion. If you want to feel bass that is reminiscent of your favorite concert, these speakers are your ticket to a transformative experience. (For optimal results, place these speakers a bit away from walls. Because of the port, the bass tones will be richer when the speaker is not positioned directly against a wall.)
Improvements were made throughout the RP-5000F II, from top to bottom. The input panel now features audiophile-grade wire and easily accessible aluminum binding posts. The engineering advancements continue in the interior space, with a revised cabinet design featuring additional bracing and a divided cabinet to minimize resonances and vibration. The strong, flexible grille is removable; it attaches magnetically for a sleek look, allowing the RP-5000F II speakers to visually complement any room.
The cast-aluminum feet enhance both the sonic performance and the visual aesthetics. They are designed to minimize the surface area in contact with the floor, allowing for faster, tighter low frequencies and improved sonic detail.
Available in an ebony vinyl or walnut vinyl finish, these beautiful, furniture-grade cabinets boast satin-painted baffles and a scratch-resistant finish. Like all Music Direct products, Klipsch loudspeakers come with the 100% Music Direct Satisfaction Guarantee.
LTS Tweeter
The exclusive 1-inch LTS tweeter minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performance. The vented tweeter housing reduces standing waves that create unwanted harmonics, resulting in advanced levels of detail and clarity in high-frequency reproduction.
Bi-Wiring and Bi-Amping Capability
The RP-5000F II speakers feature the option for bi-wiring and bi-amping. Dual input terminals for bi-wiring / bi-amping capabilities separate the high- and low-frequency current into different speaker cables, reducing distortion for extreme clarity in midrange tones. Bi-amping allows for further optimization of performance with separate outboard power amplifiers for the high-frequency and low-frequency drivers.
Optional Immersive Dolby Atmos Sound
Upgrading to immersive Dolby Atmos sound is incredibly easy with simple, hidden connections on the back of the speakers. These refined connections reduce wire visibility while holding them in place for better wire management.
