Towering Presence, Sonic Magnificence: Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-8000F II Floor-Standing Speakers Offer Crystalline Clarity and Vast, Detailed Soundstages

When many audiophiles hear the name Klipsch, they automatically think of horn loudspeakers, of course, and the company extends that glorious, storied legacy with the Reference Premiere RP-8000F II floor-standing speakers. These mighty towers vividly demonstrate why so many music lovers fully embrace horn architecture in loudspeakers. This exclusive horn design maximizes efficiency and increases sonic detail while focusing high frequencies toward the listening area.

The gorgeous RP-8000F II speakers stand 43.1 inches tall, and they arrive completely loaded with the company's signature technology. They feature a new, larger, 90-degree x 90-degree silicone composite hybrid Tractrix horn, which provides incredibly efficient transfer of high-frequency waves into your listening space for crisp, clear sound. A bigger horn means better sound, and the phase plug and compression molded silicone face help ensure smooth frequency response. The horn, tweeter, and subwoofer are all engineered to create vast, cohesive soundstages full of nuanced detail, making the RP-8000F II ideal for a hi-fi system, a home theater setup, or both.

The proprietary 1-inch titanium Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) diaphragm tweeter minimizes distortion for detailed, lifelike playback. LTS tweeters are a hallmark of previous Reference Premiere series, making this a core component of some of the most acclaimed loudspeakers in the world.

Another signature of the Reference Premiere series speakers—and one that packs both sonic and visual impact—are the dual 8-inch Cerametallic woofers. They have been updated for flawless sound reproduction, minimum distortion, and maximum efficiency. The redesigned woofer delivers the muscle, poise, and emotion that audiophiles around the world have come to expect from a Klipsch Reference Premiere speaker.

Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the Reference Premiere port allows for the most efficient, fastest air transfer from the cabinet, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies. Less turbulent air leads to a reduction in potential port noise, resulting in cleaner bass tones. (For optimal results, place these speakers a bit away from walls. Because of the port, the bass tones will be richer when the speaker is not positioned directly against a wall.)

The improved input panel now features audiophile-grade wire and easily accessible aluminum binding posts. The engineering advancements continue in the interior space, with a revised cabinet design featuring additional bracing and a divided cabinet to minimize resonances and vibration. The strong, flexible, removable grille attaches magnetically for an elegant look, allowing the RP-8000F II speakers to enhance any room.

The cast aluminum feet enhance both the performance and the aesthetics. They are designed to minimize the surface area in contact with the floor, allowing for faster, tighter low frequencies and better sonic detail.

Available in ebony vinyl or walnut vinyl finishes, these beautiful, furniture-grade cabinets boast satin-painted baffles and a scratch-resistant finish.

LTS Tweeter

The exclusive 1-inch LTS tweeter minimizes distortion for enhanced, detailed performance. The vented tweeter housing reduces standing waves that create unwanted harmonics, resulting in advanced levels of detail and clarity in high-frequency reproduction.

Bi-Wiring and Bi-Amping Capability

The RP-8000F II speakers feature the option for bi-wiring and bi-amping. Dual input terminals for bi-wiring / bi-amping capabilities separate the high- and low-frequency current into different speaker cables, reducing distortion for clearer midrange tones. Bi-amping allows for further optimization of performance with separate outboard power amplifiers for the high-frequency and low-frequency drivers.

Optional Immersive Dolby Atmos Sound

Upgrading to immersive Dolby Atmos sound is incredibly easy with simple, hidden connections on the back of the speakers. These refined connections reduce wire visibility while holding them in place for better wire management.
