John Coltrane With The Red Garland Trio on Hybrid Mono SACD 

For his third album, originally released on Prestige in 1958, John Coltrane is joined by the great Red Garland Trio which in addition to Garland on piano features Paul Chambers on bass and Art Taylor on drums. The 5-song set is anchored by the Coltrane originals "Traneing In" and "Bass Blues" not to mention a brilliant reading of Irving Berlin's "Soft Lights and Sweet Music." The original album title and cover with its abstract painting was changed in later pressings to Tranein’ In, and revised to show a monochrome portrait of Coltrane.
