Legendary Photographer Shot Dylan, Joplin, Davis, and More

The evocative image of Bob Dylan and then-girlfriend Suze Rotolo strolling down Jones Street in New York City’s Greenwich Village became one of the most famous music photographs – and album covers – in history. Don Hunstein, who took the shot, made a career out of capturing such moments. He recently passed away, and the New York Times penned a marvelous obituary about the man who spent many hours working with the likes of Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Janis Joplin, and many other icons. Read it here.
