Celebrating the 50th anniversary of their landmark album, Days of Future Passed, The Moody Blues took to the road to perform the entire LP live. This performance of the famous concept work took place at the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts in Toronto in July 2017, where the Moody Blues were accompanied by a full orchestra. Filmed in high definition, the concert begins with the band on stage by themselves, for an opening selection of some of the most beloved songs in their catalog like "Your Wildest Dreams," "Isn't Life Strange," "I Know You're Out There Somewhere" and "The Story In Your Eyes."
For the second part of the show, the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees are joined by the orchestra for the complete Days Of Future Passed, from "The Day Begins" to "The Night (Finale)." The voice of Oscar-winning actor Jeremy Irons is heard on the two spoken word tracks, "Morning Glory" and "Late Lament." The show closes with encores of two more band staples, "Question" and "Ride My See-Saw." This Blu-ray edition will also include a bonus feature, Remembering Days Of Future Passed, which contains new interviews with longtime Moody Blues linchpins Justin Hayward, John Lodge and co-founder Graeme Edge.
