The Doors The Soft Parade on Hybrid SACD
Doors 200g 45RPM 2LP/Hybrid SACD Reissue Series from Analogue Productions!
Cut from the Original Masters by Doug Sax and Overseen by Band Producer/Engineer Bruce Botnick!
Analogue Productions presents all six of the Doors studio titles, The Doors (1967), Strange Days (1967), Waiting For The Sun (1968), The Soft Parade (1969), Morrison Hotel (1970) and L.A. Woman (1971), on Hybrid multi-channel SACD, all cut from the original analog masters by Doug Stax and original engineer Bruce Botnick!
Sax and the Doors producer/engineer Bruce Botnick have gone through a meticulous setup to guarantee a positively stunning reissue series. These masters were recorded on all-tube equipment, and the tape machine used for the transfer of these releases is also a tube machine, as is the cutting system.
The Doors mined new territory with their 1969 release, The Soft Parade, incorporating brass, strings and even a full orchestra into the mix, albeit with the same results as it became their fourth Top 10 album in a row. Featuring half of the songs written by Morrison and the other half by guitarist Krieger, the album climbed all the way to #6 on the strength of the huge hit “Touch Me.”
