Tame Resonance from Your Speaker's Woofer

Simply apply these self-adhering strips to the rear of midrange or woofer driver baskets for a huge improvement in focus and clarity. The Tuning Bands consume harmful resonances on the basket itself, removing this distortion from the final audio output. Grit, hash, harshness and even muddiness can all be tamed with these thin strips. Dynamic Driver Tuning Bands are one of the most effective speaker tweaks we've heard and they won't void your warranty.

Dynamic Driver Tuning Bands use Marigo Audio's Vibrational Tension System (VTS) to tune the resonant frequency of your components, making them work more efficiently and harmoniously. Installation: Although the strips may be applied the long way in a single piece (aligning with the basket's legs), we've found the most effective way to apply these is to cut them into smaller strips and apply them horizontally as stripes across the basket's legs. This breaks up more of the resonance on the leg in more spots. If you've any material left over, try placing some on the inside of the binding post plate. Eliminating resonance here can be quite an ear-opening experience.
