Call To Confirm Colored Copies Are Still Available
A Perfect Circle make their anxiously awaited return with Eat The Elephant, the band's fourth full-length effort and first since 2004's eMOTIVe. The album, co-produced by Dave Sardy (Autolux, Slayer), arrives following years of anticipation and speculation, which reached a fever pitch as the outfit helmed by Maynard James Keenan and Billy Howerdel launched their Fall 2017 tour with the release of "The Doomed" and then ushered in 2018 with the contemplative song, "Disillusioned" and moody third single "Talk Talk." "...I'm extremely excited to finally be completing this album after a 14-year hiatus," explains Keenan while Howerdel adds, "I feel we've made a great record."
"What Keenan and his Perfect Circle partner, guitarist Billy Howerdel, made was somewhat of a departure from past albums – a quieter display of the complex emotional tableaus they made their calling card in the early 2000s. Gone largely are the walloping riffs of "Judith" and the propulsive rhythms of "Weak and Powerless." Eat the Elephant is a moody, sensitive portrait of a band that decided to grow up and make a record that reflects where they are now as artists rather than trying to recapture the past." - Kory Grow, Rolling Stone
