Call To Confirm Colored Copies Are Still Available
As Long Island, NY became a hotbed for the indie-rock, emo and pop-punk scenes, people found it intimidatingly easy to squeeze bands into one of these more classifiable genres. While the band, As Tall As Lions, is in fact from Long Island, they developed a different musical approach combining the lush tones of ambient pop, the creativity of 70's album rock, the subtle passion of the late 1980's C-86 movement, and today's "not so emo" writing style. Exposure from the band's 2002 Blood and Aphorisms EP helped ATAL seal a deal with Triple Crown Records where they recorded their sweeping 2004 full length debut, Lafcadio, with producer Sean O'Keefe (Fall Out Boy, Spitalfield, Motion City Soundtrack). It's now available for the first time on vinyl in a colored LP configuration complete with alternate artwork.
