Ben Vaughn spent the '80's touring the country and making records with the Ben Vaughn Combo and as a solo artist, before recording Instrumental Stylings, where he proved that no genre was safe from his magic touch including surf, spaghetti western, French soundtrack, California dragstrip, and even a little space age bachelor pad music. Using the album as his calling card to get film work in Los Angeles, it didn't take long before he was the music supervisor for the hit TV show Third Rock From The Sun (for which he penned the award winning theme song). He went on to work on the even more successful That 70s Show. Many of the songs on Instrumental Stylings were featured in both shows. A couple were written for the documentaries Favorite Mopar and Wild Girl's Go Go. Initially released in 1995, this is the first time the album has been available on vinyl. Comes complete with a download card for the complete album plus four bonus tracks including one with special guest Deen Ween.
