Atlanta Twelve String was originally recorded by ragtime blues legend Blind Willie McTell, immortalized by Bob Dylan in his song of the same name, in 1949 for the newly formed Atlantic Records but wasn't released until nearly 20 years later. The 15-track old-timey country blues collection finds McTell solo on acoustic 12-string guitar and in fine form offering up vivid performances of "Kill It, Kid," "Broke Down Engine Blues," "Dying Crapshooter's Blues," "The Razor Ball," and "Ain't I Grand to Live a Christian."
