Bodega - Ben Hozie (guitar, vocals), Nikki Belfiglio (vocals), Montana Simone (drums), Madison Velding-Vandam (guitar) and Heather Elle (bass) - the promising art-punk band from Brooklyn, NY, create, arguably, the greatest debut from a Big Apple group since Parquet Court's Light Up Gold which is even more notable considering the album was produced by that band's Austin Brown and recorded on the same Tascam 388 as that album. Mixed and mastered by Jonathan Schenke (Eaters) and awash in New York influences like LCD Soundsystem and The Velvet Underground, Endless Scroll comes preceded by the equally adroit and punchy cuts "How Did This Happen ?!" and "Can't Knock The Hustle." "Bodega has a direct archness that ties back to the earliest proliferation of punk, as bands like Devo and Talking Heads grappled with dense messaging in simple forms," says the Nashville Scene.
