Formed from the ashes of Jim Mankey and Johnette Napolitano's Dream 6 on the fringes of L.A.'s new wave and punk scene, alt-rockers Concrete Blonde quickly signed with IRS Records and found a home on college radio alongside labelmates like R.E.M. Available for the first time on vinyl in the U.S., Concrete Blonde's fourth studio album, Walking in London (1992) features a deeply personal set of songs - anchored by the haunting numbers "Ghost of a Texas Ladies' Man," "Someday?", "Long Time Ago" and "Les Coeurs Jumeaux" - and abbetted by original drummer Harry Rushakoff plus guests like Tom Petersson of Cheap Trick and Wall of Voodoo's Andy Prieboy.
